The Concept of the Political
Carl Schmitt
If there was any doubt about Schmitt's true convictions or that his political thought is anything other than fascism they will be quickly dispelled by quick reading of this book. It is still however an important read. It does not only expose the dangers of fascism, it exposes how much fascism was a pragmatic and managed ordering of political power adopted by power elites at the point of exhaustion and collapse of the sovereign model of the liberal democratic state.
